Spring Migrants on the move
Spring migration has really accelerated this week with the nice weather and steady easterly airflow. Lots of Sand Martins starting to move through as well as a few Swallows. Otherwise keep a watch out for Yellow Wagtails and the various sub species such as Blue Headed which should start to be seen any time now.

Went to Middleton Lakes on Friday (30th May) and had several sightings of the Bitterns flying over the New Reedbed. Also saw Hobby, Cuckoo and Kingfisher.
