Explore, Discover, Birdwatch

Join us on our field trips and enjoy a special chance to spot some rare birds not usually seen in our region, or just enjoy birdwatching in a variety of beautiful habitats.

Each of the trips are expertly organized and led by our seasoned field trips organisers, who bring a wealth of experience from birding at numerous sites across the UK.  We are adding field trips from our branches too so watch out for those below.

It's a perfect way to get outside, learn, and have fun with fellow bird enthusiasts!

Weekend Field Trips

Twice a year, we enjoy residential weekends to - Devon in spring and Norfolk in autumn - exploring fantastic birding spots.

We watch for special species like Cirl Bunting, Dartford Warbler, Snow Bunting, and Shorelark, along with any surprises.

We also run coach trips to favourites like Rutland Water, Bempton Cliffs, and Gibraltar Point, ensuring a variety of habitats.

And while we can’t guarantee what you'll see, we plan trips around seasonal highlights, from seabirds to raptors.

These trips are a great way to discover new places, improve bird identification skills, and enjoy the company of fellow bird enthusiasts!
