WMBC Ospreys is Launched!

Announcing the WMBC Ospreys!

A new birding group for young people aged 18-28!

We are very excited to announce that we are forming a new group for young adults across the region, the WMBC Ospreys. This will bring together young adults who are interested in birds and nature to meet like-minded people of their own generation and of course so they can get out and about birding together! This is a wonderful opportunity to make friends and enjoy birding together in a relaxed friendly group with the first event kicking off shortly.

Any young adult from 18 to 28 can join provided they are a member. Also, don’t forget young adults up to 23 years of age can become a WMBC member as a ‘Next Gen Birder’ at a greatly reduced price.

Our brilliant and enthusiastic group leader, Lauren, is arranging events around all four counties that we cover. We also have local experts on board who are looking forward to leading events in each of their local areas so we really can show the next generation of birders some of the best birding across our region! We are planning to arrange at least one meet up each month, but there’s no pressure, so come along to as many as you like.

So, put the word out to young adults you know and they’ll be welcome to get involved, and if you are a young adult then please do join in. To join the group please get in touch with Lauren who will be leading the group via ospreys@WestMidlandBirdClub.org.uk
