Broompits Hide via Red Route?
apologies if this is the wrong place. i tried the red route last year and it was impassable at the bridge. I’d like to try again. Does anyone know if the bridge has now been repaired? TIA nick

Hi Nick - the public routes fall outside the areas over which the WMBC have exclusive rights and therefore our ability to resolve issues is limited. What I can say is SSW bought a new bridge at the same time the WMBC ordered the new Tern raft last year (with full funding by the SSW PEBBLE fund which was greatly appreciated) . The main issue for SSW has been the high water levels preventing access to / replacing the footings for the bridge, so I fear all users of this route will need to wait until SSW can complete the work - with best regards Mark
